NAZARENE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL (NMI)

This is the promotional, educational, program, and fund-raising arm of Nazarene missions.*

The Dakota District NMI theme for the 2007-08 year was “The Cross, Seize it!  Share it!  Speak it Boldly!”.

The Easter and Thanksgiving Offerings are one of our greatest avenues for going into all the world to preach the Gospel to every person.*  These offerings are our World Evangelism Fund and you gave $3,472 to pay this obligation in full.

The Alabaster Offering is like “perfume money” not spent on ourselves but given to Jesus.  These love gifts are transformed into buildings and property sites around the world.*  We gave $145.

NMI helps provide funds for the health care of Nazarene missionaries.  This is done through the Memorial Roll, Distinguished Service Awards (DSA), and offerings.  We presented a DSA to Gary and Betty Lee.

Missionaries give Great Commission reports that connect people at home to the mission field.*  We were privileged to host Missionary Robert Brunson from the Eurasia Region at a Wednesday evening service with the adults, young people, and children in attendance.  Our gift to him was $250.  Some of our children were able to attend a Children’s Mission Day in Valley City to hear Rev. Brunson.  Our children also attended a Mission Day in Bismarck to hear Rev. Samuel Ovando from Puerto Rico.

Some have read the NMI books and listened to the CD’s, learning about people and experiences around the world   Eighteen Crisis Care Kits were assembled during VBS.  The VBS students raised money for a special mission project.  $300 was given to support a child in Haiti.  An offering of $22. was given for the World Missions Broadcast.  The Youth participated in a special mission’s project, “30 hour famine”.

We pray for missions in general and also for specific missionaries and their needs.  Everyone can pray.  A helpful source to use is the Prayer Mobilization Line (1-816-444-PRAY) or

We look forward to your continued participation this next year.
